Obviously the previous answer to your question was not a Licensed Massage Therapist. The national Average for Deep Tissue is between $ 75-85 an hour. That would be a massage that is more aggressive because it detoxifies the muscle tissue. I would like to suggest that if you can find a massage student clinic in your area. Not sure about Cali, but in AZ its between $60-75. If you aren't sure, I would recommend going to the American Massage Therapy Associations website and searching their database of licensed MT's. Then call around.
