Can you wear a swimsuit when getting deep tissue massage?

...I'm considering getting it for a running-related injury, but I'm not confortable with the no-clothes thing...Can you wear a swimsuit when getting deep tissue massage?
A certified massage therapist is a highly trained professional who only uncovers the parts of the body that they are working on, and they do not expose you. In order to perform a massage properly and for the optimum benefit, you need to be nude underneath the blankets and sheets. Can you wear a swimsuit when getting deep tissue massage?
i think that you can`t.do you got the answers?
You can wear whatever you want during a deep tissue massage. Your massage therapist is (should be) trained to work through clothes as well as no clothes. He or she should also not make you remove any article of clothing you don't want to.

A bathing suit would be perfectly acceptable, as long as you are comfortable with it.

Just for examples, my husband gets massages and he wears his shorts but no shirt. When I get massages I wear just my underwear.
If the massage therapist is a professional they shouldn't have a problem with a bathing suit. Just tell them what you are comfortable with. Yes, they'll drape you and only expose the area they are working on, but if you aren't comfortable you won't be able to relax and get the full benefit of the massage. If they refuse I'd find another therapist.
Absolutely and with no hesitation, YES! I am a licensed MT and I can tell you with certainty that any professional bodyworker should have no problem working around ANYTHING that you may want to wear. The most important part of the massage is your comfort... not your level of undress. After all (and as someone else already pointed out), the massage will be worthless if you are not relaxed. Massage is more than just touch - it is caring and compasionate response to your specific issues. Anyone who would say different is someone that I would not trust working on my body.

If you need help finding a professional LMT in your area (you don't have to go to a spa), please see the link below for the American Massage Therapist Association's website's Massage Therapist locator.
Yes. If ANY body worker tells you differently RUN the other direction; of course, if your running related injury with let you! Also, you should always be given a warm towel or sheet to drape over your body as well!
