Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue, Combo Massage?

ok so im 15 and i have really bad back problems so i was lookin up some local spas. they have something called a swedish massage, deep tissue, and combo. what is it? wich is better? and how r they different.

I agree with April O. Some of your back issues may be due to stress, in which case a combination may be helpful. You need a trained therapist who can do specific work as well as a general relaxation Swedish massage.Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue, Combo Massage?
You'd benefit more getting a massage from a neuromuscular therapist or sports massage specialist than a spa massage. The link below is to find a nationally certified massage therapist. There are numerous things that can cause back pain (sleeping badly to tight quadriceps).





I just finished massage school and am about to take my massage board exams.
Swedish massage is basic spa massage - lots of effililuage, gentler sliding motions. Deep tissue is massage that gets, well, deep into your muscle tissue, which would be better for pain treatment. I'd suggest a clinical massage over a spa, though.
